Every week someone books a Full Valet and then says "oh, can you do the seats too?" — and every week I have to explain that yes, the seats are included, but deep cleaning them is a different thing entirely.

What's in a Full Valet? (from €130)

Think of the Full Clean as your car's regular reset. It's thorough, it's proper, and it'll make your car look and feel fresh again.

Here's what's included:

This takes around 2 hours and covers everything on the surface. If your car is reasonably looked after and you just haven't had it done in a while — this is your one.

What's in a Deep Clean? (from €180)

The Deep Clean is for when your car has lived a life.

Kids. Dogs. Takeaways. Six months of Irish weather. Maybe all four at once.

Here's what's different:

• Deep vacuum — not just a run-over, we get into every gap and crevice Mats shampooed (same as Full Clean) Interior trim deep cleaned and dressed Seats deep cleaned and shampooed — not just hoovered, actually washed Leathers cleaned and conditioned — not just wiped, properly treated Windows streak-free Headliner spot cleaned Exterior foam prewash and hand wash Wheels cleaned and dressed TAR removed Quick Vax hand applied

This takes ~3–4 hours, depending on the condition of the car.

So Which One Do You Need?

Here's my honest guide:

Go Full Valet if:

• Your car is in decent shape but just needs a proper refresh You get it cleaned a few times a year There's no major staining or ground-in dirt You just want it looking well for a long weekend or a big occasion

Go Deep Clean Valet if:

• You have kids or a dog (you already know) There's any kind of smell — food, damp, dog, or mystery The seats have visible stains You haven't cleaned it properly in over 6 months You're selling the car and want to get the best price Someone spilled something and "wiped it up" but didn't really
