How Often Should You Valet Your Car?

May 2026 · 4 min read · Good Clean

Most car owners wait far too long between professional cleans. Life gets busy. But regular valeting isn't just about appearances — it protects your paintwork, your interior, and the long-term value of your vehicle.

Daily Driver

Commuting, school runs, errands every day? Your car takes a lot of punishment. Road grime, bird droppings, brake dust and UV build up fast. We recommend:

Weekend / Occasional Use

Less mileage, but dust, moisture and infrequent use cause their own issues — especially on leather. Aim for a Full Valet every 3–4 months and a Deep Clean once or twice a year.

Families & Pet Owners

If you have kids or dogs in the car, you already know the damage. Crumbs, muddy paws, pet hair — it builds up fast and gets genuinely difficult to remove if left too long. We recommend a Deep Clean Valet every 6–8 weeks.

The Golden Rule

Don't wait until your car looks terrible. The longer you leave it, the harder — and more expensive — it is to fix. A regular Full Valet is far cheaper than a deep restoration on a badly neglected interior.

What Is Ceramic Coating and Is It Worth It?

May 2026 · 6 min read · Good Clean

If you've heard the term but aren't sure what it means or whether it's worth the money — this is for you.

What Is It?

A liquid polymer that chemically bonds to your car's paintwork, creating a hard protective layer over the clear coat. Unlike wax, which wears off within weeks, ceramic coating bonds to the surface and lasts two years or more.

It protects against UV, bird droppings, road grime, light scratches and contaminants — and gives your paint a deep gloss that's noticeably better than wax.

What's Involved?

Our ceramic coat is a full-day job. The paintwork must be properly prepared first — otherwise you're sealing in imperfections.

Is It Worth It?

Yes — especially if you've just bought a new car, your paint is looking dull, or you want to protect your car's value long-term. A ceramic-coated car is much easier to keep clean — dirt and water bead off instead of bonding. Over two years, the time saved cleaning alone makes it worth it.

Cost

From €500 for standard cars, €580 for XL. A one-time investment that pays for itself in paintwork protection and reduced cleaning costs.
